MEET LEAH

I am a PACFA-registered Clinical Counsellor, an ICF ACC-accredited Coach, and a Yoga Teacher. My work brings neuroscience, psychology, and mindful embodiment together to help individuals and couples stabilise the mind, rebuild trust in the body, and re-establish direction.


Growth does not occur in isolation; it arises from the integrated system of mind and body. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, and mindfulness because each activates distinct neural pathways, attention, emotional regulation, and meaning-making. These approaches invite the brain to rewire toward balance, resilience, and clarity.


The heart of my practice was formed long before my qualifications. Stabilise was created in memory of my mother, whose strength, empathy, and quiet wisdom shaped how I understand healing. She taught me that presence is the greatest act of love,  that to sit with another person, fully and without judgment, can change the chemistry of a moment.


Each client journey is unique, yet the foundation remains constant, safety, clarity, and measurable growth held in presence.

YOGA & THERAPY

Healing is an embodied process. The body carries the experiences the mind cannot always name. Every movement, breath, and posture speaks a neural language, one that tells the brain when it is safe to let go.

Through yoga and somatic awareness, we access the body’s sensory intelligence, recalibrating the nervous system through gentle, intentional motion. This practice strengthens interoception, the brain’s capacity to feel and interpret internal signals, teaching us to move from defence to trust, from contraction to presence.

When movement becomes mindful, it becomes medicine. Breath synchronises with awareness, and posture becomes a dialogue between tissue and thought. In this space, the body becomes both teacher and guide, revealing the stories stored beneath the surface and inviting their release with compassion.

Each session is designed to meet you where you are, integrating the science of neuroplasticity with the stillness of embodied awareness. This is movement as meditation, a return to safety, coherence, and wholeness.

RELATIONSHIP & COUPLES DYNAMICS

 

Relationships are emotional ecosystems, reflecting the regulation of two nervous systems in constant dialogue. When both partners learn to self-soothe and co-regulate, connection deepens and trust stabilises.

In our work, we explore protective patterns, criticism, withdrawal, and defensiveness as adaptive responses to unmet needs. Through relational attunement and mindful repair, the brain learns that safety and vulnerability can coexist. BUILD MENTAL & EMOTIONAL AWARENESS

 

Emotional awareness is the most advanced form of self-regulation. Through interoception, the body’s capacity to sense its internal state, you learn to recognise early physiological cues of stress before they become overwhelming.

As awareness strengthens, the vagus nerve recalibrates, cortisol levels stabilise, and cognitive flexibility increases. You become able to meet challenges with steadiness rather than urgency, creating a baseline of calm from which clarity naturally arises.
