Clinical Registered Counsellor
PACFA Clinical Members are highly qualified professionals in counselling and psychotherapy, holding at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in their field. They have completed a minimum of 750 hours of direct client contact, gaining extensive hands-on experience with diverse individuals and groups.
These hours reflect experience working with individuals, couples, families, or groups across a diverse range of issues, demonstrating their ability to apply evidence-based techniques in real-world settings.
This combination of advanced education and practical expertise ensures they provide effective, ethical, and empathetic support. PACFA Clinical Members also commit to ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and emerging approaches to deliver the highest standard of care.
ICF - International Coaching Federation
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organisation for coaches and coaching. ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals.
Associate Certified Coach (ACC)
ACC coaches demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the ICF Core Competencies of coaching, the ICF Code of Ethics and the definition of coaching. The ACC is designed to include coaches early in their coaching career and professionals who understand the value of integrating a coaching approach into their practice.
