When Your Mind Won't Let It Go

A practical workbook for overthinking, worry and living with uncertainty

What it is for

You have thought about it from every angle and the answer still does not feel settled. Not how do I stop thinking, but what is this thinking doing? Action, information, or let it stay open.

Inside

  • Solving versus circling
  • Sort one concern into action, information or open
  • The part that wants certainty
  • Asking for connection without asking for a guarantee
  • A four-week guide
  • A worked example on every exercise

You might be here if

  • You have thought about it from every angle and the answer still does not feel settled.
  • You replay a conversation, or wait on a reply, long after the thinking stopped helping.
  • You are facing a decision, or preparing for a future you cannot predict.
  • You are tired of hearing yourself think.

The worked example

Priya, 36, sent a two-line message to a colleague on Tuesday afternoon. It's now Thursday. She has reread it eleven times, drafted a follow-up she hasn't sent, and spent most of one evening explaining to her partner why the wording might have sounded curt. The colleague has been on leave since Wednesday.
Priya is a composite, not a real client. Their answers run through every exercise, so you see each one filled in before you fill in your own.

From the pages

  • Think of something you've been turning over this week. What is the thinking helping you do?

  • What answer did I hope would settle me?

  • Could they realistically know that answer?

  • What does this rule ask me to guarantee? Is that guarantee possible?

How it works

Payment is handled by Gumroad. The PDF arrives by email straight after checkout and stays in your Gumroad library. Open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Apple Preview or the Files app on iPhone and iPad; your answers save inside the file.

A support structure, not a replacement

This workbook offers education and guided reflection for adults. It does not diagnose a condition or replace counselling, psychological treatment or medical care. If anything it raises is more than you can hold alone, bring the pages to a counsellor or therapist. Sessions are here.

Refunds

Because the file is delivered instantly, purchases cannot be returned or exchanged. If a file will not open or the fields will not fill, email coach@stabilisecoaching.com and it will be sorted, usually the same day.
