Why online works
Good counselling depends on safety, attunement and consistency - not on being in the same room. Over video, we can build exactly the same therapeutic relationship, and you get to do the work in an environment where you already feel at ease.
It also removes the practical barriers that stop people getting support: travel, parking, time off work, or living somewhere without a counsellor who fits. You simply need a private space and a stable connection.
Who it suits
Online sessions suit people anywhere in the world - those in regional or rural areas, expats and travellers across time zones, people with demanding schedules, parents, and anyone who simply feels more open when they are at home. If anxiety, burnout or low energy make leaving the house difficult, online removes that hurdle entirely.
How it works
After a free 15-minute discovery call, we book your first session and I send a secure video link. Sessions run for 60 minutes and we find a time that works across your time zone. Everything shared is confidential, with the same professional and ethical standards as in-person work.
Common questions
Is online counselling as effective as in person?
For most people, yes. What makes counselling work is safety, attunement and consistency, and all three hold up well over video. Many clients find they open up more easily from their own space.
Can I see you online if I live outside Australia?
Yes. I work with clients anywhere in the world. We find a session time that works across both time zones, using my hours in Melbourne.
What do I need for an online session?
A private room, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera. I send a secure video link before each session. Headphones help if you share your home with others.
How do I start?
Book a free 15-minute discovery call. It is a short conversation to see whether working together feels right. If it does, we book your first 60-minute session.
